According to Ayoub Kurd, 94,477 tons of goods were transported across the border via 3,670 trucks during this period. Of this total, 35,212 tons were exported, while 59,265 tons were in transit.
Major goods transported included hydrocarbons, cement, dairy products, and spare parts. Kurd noted that on average, 230 trucks pass through the Milak border daily.
The official stressed the critical role of the Milak border as a key hub for the exchange of goods and services between Iran and Afghanistan. He described it as a vital economic gateway that significantly facilitates trade and boosts economic ties between the two nations.
